Tomorrow will be my last delivery to Stonehenge Farm 🤍
Jared is closing the market down at the end of the month to pursue another path!
I plan to drop off around noon. Stop in for some bread, shop around and grab some other goodies while ya still can!
I’ve been putting off writing this post.
Not because it’s bad news.
Just because it’s a little emotional.
Over the last couple of years, I’ve had the privilege of running Stonehenge Farm Market. Coming from Brooklyn, I never imagined I’d be running a farm market in Bullville. There were definitely days when I wondered what the heck I had gotten myself into. 😂
I gave it everything I had.
Some things worked.
Some things didn’t.
And I learned more than I ever thought I would.
Here’s what I discovered…
Running a small-town retail store is HARD.
Really hard.
You have to be a florist, a produce buyer, a baker, a gardener, a mechanic, a cashier, a social media manager, a janitor, an accountant… and somehow still smile at the end of the day.
I have so much respect for the people who have been doing it for decades.
But through all of this, something became very clear.
When I’m cooking…
When I’m smoking meat…
When I’m talking BBQ…
When I’m feeding people…
I’m home.
That’s what I’ve done for most of my life, and that’s where my heart is.
So I’m not leaving Stonehenge.
I’m not going anywhere.
I’m simply turning the page.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be transitioning away from the market and putting my full focus into Bullville BBQ and building what I hope becomes one of the coolest little gathering spots in the Hudson Valley.
The market isn’t disappearing overnight, but it is time to start clearing the shelves.
So beginning today…
Everything in the market is 50% OFF.
(Except baked goods and produce.)
🌸 Flowers.
🌱 Plants.
🍓 Jams and jellies.
🌻 Seeds.
🐶 Pet items.
Candles, gifts, and plenty more.
If you’ve been meaning to stop in, now’s the time.
You’ll get some incredible deals, and every purchase helps me make this next chapter possible.
To everyone who’s bought a donut…
Picked up flowers…
Shared one of my ridiculous Facebook posts…
Stopped in just to say hello…
Or simply cheered me on…
Thank you.
Seriously.
This isn’t the end of Stonehenge for me.
It’s the beginning of something new.
And honestly…
I think the best is still ahead.
I hope you’ll come along for the ride.
