As we prepare to welcome our little one very soon, I’ll be taking a short break from the bakery after this week to focus on family and soak in all the newborn snuggles once our little girl arrives.

Let’s freeze some sourdough🌬️

Freezing your sourdough loaf is a great way to extend its life if you’re not able to finish it within the week. Here’s a few tips on how to preserve your fresh loaf!

🌟slice your loaf before you put it in the freezer

🌟place parchment paper in between each slice

🌟use a straw to get as much air out of the bag

Your loaf will stay fresh in the freezer for up 6 months and can easily be defrosted by sitting on the counter or popping a slice straight in the toaster!
