Dan knew what ingredients went into his sauce, but he never measured. Everything went into his trusty black iron skillet and was left to simmer. Whether it was a family get together or the annual cookout for friends, it was always expected that Dan's homemade sauce would be served. The Menu seldom varied from chicken and baby back ribs, baked potato, tossed salad, and garlic bread. Sauce was spoon

ed on back potatos and what was left on the plate was sopped up with bread. There always had to be extra bowls of sauce-that were vigorously guarded beside everyones plate. For years everyone said,"You should bottle that sauce!" So, he did!
