Active buyers & *especially newbies, if you are looking to buy a deck and you are not provided with a flat frequency response curve plot, then you better see this orange envelope from JRF Magnetic Sciences - It is not possible to align a tape deck if the heads are bad. Turning the heads slightly over time is for a professional, not for reselling a tape deck to a consumer!
