We’re spending today and tomorrow in the kitchen baking, cooking, and stocking the stand to get everything ready for you!

Yesterday I spent the day deep in Kentucky visiting my Amish friends. Every trip reminds me how much beauty there is in a simple life—clothes dancing on the line, barefoot children, dairy cows, workhorses, and gardens grown with hard work and love.

This sweet corn was hand-picked straight from the field by those same barefoot kids and carried back to me with the biggest smiles. I can’t wait to share it with y’all here at The Nest on Betts Road. 🌽❤️

What a weekend! ❤️

I just wanted to take a moment to thank everyone who stopped by The Nest on Betts Road this weekend. It was such a blessing to meet so many new neighbors and see familiar faces from my food truck days.

You know, the tomatoes, zucchini, fresh eggs, sourdough bread, and sweet treats are wonderful—but the truth is, that’s not my favorite part of this little farm stand.

My favorite part is the people.

It’s the neighbors who pull into the driveway and wave while I’m out pulling weeds in the garden. It’s the conversations, the stories, and the chance to slow down for a minute and connect. In a world that seems to move faster every day, this little stand has brought me back to something I grew up believing in: gardening, canning, family, community, and neighbors helping neighbors.

The Nest on Betts Road has given me the opportunity to meet people I might never have met otherwise, and for that I am truly grateful.

Thank you for supporting this little dream and for making this weekend one I’ll never forget. We have so many exciting things planned for the months ahead, and I can’t wait to share them with you.

🌱 While we’re waiting on our own garden harvest to come in, we’re proud to offer fresh produce sourced from local Mennonite growers. Supporting local farmers and bringing fresh food to our community is what we’re all about!
