We're always chasing rainbows, so this week's intermittent showers have had us in our happy place. Marla captured the image above after a long day of baking. What a great reward!

We've had a few requests for the maple oat scone in the past few weeks. Ask and ye shall receive! These tender scones pack a bunch of flavor. The maple drizzle on top will have you pining for fall. Get them while they last!

It's back to school week for most of Marin. If you're feeling glum about the end of summer and the return to the grind, stop by the bakery for a pick-me-up! We have options galore to help boost your mood.

This weekend's special scone will be the strawberry scone! These tender treats are absolutely jam packed (har har) with fresh strawberries from the California coast. A touch of icing drizzled on the top and your worries about calculus and The Odyssey will be left behind.

Now that fall is just around the corner, you may be thinking about wedding bells. We've certainly been getting more calls about arranging cake tastings and delivering wedding cakes.

It's Friday so that means it is Bread Friday! We've been loving some fancy Le Meunier cultured butter from France at home the past few weeks. It's made in a wooden butter churn and then molded by hand. The culture adds just a little bit of zing to every bite. It pairs perfectly with our slightly sweet challah. Give it a go!

If you've been out camping this summer, you're going to love what we have cooked up for you. The S'mores Cookie Bar is back! We've managed to pack transform the sticky, messy, campfire-fresh glory of s'mores in a more convenient take-away fashion.

Strawberry shortcake scones are back, too! Light as a feather and packed with real strawberry punch.

And, since it's Friday, you know it's Bread Friday at the bakery. Time for tasty challah loaves and focaccia! Better be quick this week! We just had a group of hungry campers visit the bakery this morning and devour three loaves in one go!

It's a fruit-forward weekend at Victoria Bakery & Café!

First up: after a brief hiatus, our special weekend scone is back! Look for strawberry shortcake scone to return. Big, juicy berries sandwiched between light-as-a-feather scone, and topped with a sweet drizzle. Perfect for breakfast or dessert!

Next up: our Berry Chantilly Cake returns! Available by the slice or whole, this cake is a stunner. In between layers of our soft, vanilla sponge are loads of fresh berries - strawberries, raspberries, and blueberries. It's topped with a lightly sweetened Chantilly cream. Tastes great. Looks great!

Now that summer is fully here, it felt like time to break out the ice cream! No refrigeration necessary, for these ice cream cone cake pops, though.

And, as usual, you can look forward to fresh challah and focaccia on BREAD FRIDAY. Always fresh, always handmade.

The Marin County Fair kicks off today! We look forward to it every year, but given that it's also the semiquincentennial (say that 10 times fast!) it feels extra special.

It's also given us the chance to make something for the first time: a 250th birthday cake! We will have a limited number of red-white-and-blue cakes through the holiday weekend. We also have some beautifully decorated sugar cookies to celebrate, too.

These cakes and cookies are first-come, first-served so get in quickly before they're gone.

Holiday Hours: we will close early on Saturday, July 4, at 3 PM to allow our staff time with their families to celebrate.

If that's not enough blue for you, you can celebrate with the return of our blueberry hand pies! This is the first time this season we've made them and the fruit is phenomenal! Not too big, not too small. They're perfect for either a breakfast on the go or a pick-me-up while you're out and about.

There will no special scone this weekend, but we will have some delectable cherry almond muffins. They're loaded with cherries and the addition of a little almond flour keeps the extra light and perfectly balanced. Give them a try and let us know what you think!

And, of course, it wouldn't be a Friday without Bread Friday! Make sure to get your challah and focaccia loaves before you weekend BBQ blast!

While Europe is baking in a heat dome, we're baking in our oven and enjoying the unusually cool weather. It'll be our turn in the heat dome before you know it, so let's enjoy it while it lasts!

This week our special scone is the raspberry scone. Packed with flavorful raspberries from local Watsonville covered with a popping pink drizzle, come quick before they're gone!

If you're not feeling the fruit, though, you can still drop in for a treat. One of the unsung heroes in the bakery is our flourless chocolate cake. No fruit, no frills. Just amazing chocolate taste. Bonus: those of you watching your gluten intake can enjoy this, too! Grab a slice or an entire cake!

After a short hiatus while Marla vacationed, Bread Friday is back! Look for our famous fresh challah loaves and focaccia. Celebrate the gluten!

It’s Pride Month at Victoria Bakery & Cafe, and we’ve whipped up a colorful selection of rainbow-themed cookies, cupcakes, and pastries just for the occasion! These delightful treats are perfect for celebrating love and inclusivity. Look for our rainbow shortbread cookies in the bakery case all month, alongside other rainbow-themed treats.
