After a lot of thought, I’ve decided to take the summer off from Ethereal.

My kids are only little once, and I am SO excited to take this opportunity to soak it all up.

Ethereal will be back when school starts again, with fresh inspiration and a full heart.

Thank you so very much for all of the support you continue to show me.

☕ Espresso Date Morning Buns
Soft buttery dough swirled with freshly made date espresso butter, baked until caramelized and finished in espresso sugar while still warm. These are not overly sweet, just a good balance of sweet and salty, caramelly, and lightly bitter espresso notes.

Today’s lineup is SO tasty ✨

🥜 Black & White Peanut Butter Fudge Cookies
Super dense, fudgy peanut butter cookies with an intense peanut butter flavor, dipped half in dark chocolate and half in white chocolate. The texture of these is amazing. My favorite way to eat them is cold, straight from the refrigerator or freezer.

🍓 Strawberry Lemon Cream Buns
Soft fluffy brioche lightly flavored with real strawberry, filled with a tart lemon cream cheese custard and strawberry jam, then finished with a buttery strawberry lemon crumble and a pretty pink strawberry glaze.

Croissant Saturday!!

This month’s flavors are Orange Creamsicle and Cookie Butter. Available WildFlower and Company from 10am to 2pm.

🍊 Orange Creamsicle Croissants
Classic butter croissants filled with vanilla mousse and fresh orange curd, then brushed with an orange vanilla glaze. Is there even a better summer flavor?

🍪 Cookie Butter Croissants
Classic butter croissants filled with a fluffy Cookie Butter cream and finished with a crosshatch drizzle of Cookie Butter ganache. These were one of last year’s customer favorites, so bringing them back felt necessary.

Also, I just wanted to say thank you for being so patient with me lately 🤍

My baking schedule has been a little all over the place with the absolute chaos that is the end of the school year. I know things have been less consistent recently, and I truly appreciate everyone who has continued to support me through it all while I work my way through it!

Things should be settling back into a much more normal rhythm once school is out, and I’m really looking forward to it 🤎

Today’s menu item is Pistachio Éclairs. Or, technically, pistachio choux au craquelin, if we’re being proper about it.

Large éclairs are baked with a crisp layer of pistachio craquelin and filled with a light, fluffy pistachio cream made with real pistachio cream and lots of freshly crushed pistachios.

As a side note, please excuse my overly dark photos today 😬 The sunshine coming in my window was so bright I couldn’t see my camera screen clearly and didn’t realize how dark they were until I was already finished.

🍫 Matilda Cake

Three layers of impossibly soft, tender chocolate cake filled with a light and fluffy chocolate mousse, then completely covered in a rich glossy fudge icing.

The texture of this cake is everything. Moist in the way only a really good chocolate cake is, with a deep, dark chocolate flavor that somehow still doesn’t feel too heavy or over the top.

This is THE chocolate cake. It doesn’t get more classic than this.

I’ve always loved the kinds of cakes that feel simple and special at the same time, not overly sweet or piled high with frosting. Just really good with a cup of coffee in the morning, and just as good as an after dinner treat.

☕ Coffee Walnut Cake
A softly dense, coffee scented cake folded with freshly roasted and crushed walnuts, bits of toffee, and milk chocolate. It’s hearty, but it’s not heavy. Finished with a generous dusting of cocoa and espresso powders, and served with a side of pour over brown sugar crème fraîche.

**BONUS** We also have more Apricot Lavender Thumbprints and Italian Cherry Ricotta Tarts available today!
