I was proud to have recently nominated Jackson's Bakery and Van Putte Gardens to be added the NYS Historic Business Preservation Registry. Both Jackson's and Van Putte's are institutions in the Town of Greece and have helped to shape our community for generations! To be a part of the registry, a business must be in operation for 50 years and have contributed to the community’s history. Just had a frog for the first time! Delicious! 😋 🐸🐸
I was in this weekend to buy chocolate eclairs and was a little disappointed to see that the custard was changed to something similar to the grocery store versions. I have been a customer for several years and noticed the thin pudding texture as soon as I cut into it with my fork. I hope this is a temporary change and not permanent, otherwise it is not worth a special trip.
