On top of our Cinnamon Roll Saturday Father's Day Poll being up... I have some fun news.

G*Y is getting a whole new front.

✨Yep, it's time. We are going to be CLOSED, under construction and blocking off the front windows from 8/27-8/31!✨

We are going to be rearranging the front, painting, adding in a better flow for customers and utilizing the small space in the front that we have to maximize our space for everyone and everything we have!

We will have a brand-new menu, counters, we are shifting things around, new front window logo, new merch, get the kitchen some new updates and MORE!

Hopefully this will help the traffic flow and of course look really nice thanks to our resident handy man (my husband Justin).

Honestly, I CAN'T WAIT!

Just want everyone to keep this timeline in mind, we will be updating everyone and making sure we remind everyone along the way!

🍓IT'S STRAWBERRY SEASON BABY!🍓

How lucky are we to be surrounded by so many amazing local farms?

Seriously, how could you ever go back to a grocery store strawberry after seeing this color?

The bakery has been filled with the smell of these fresh strawberries. I used the tops we cut off and boiled them down to make a perfect thick syrup. You guys, these are packed with so much flavor it's ridiculous. And we wasted none of it.

I urge you to not only support local businesses, but to get out to your farms and show them love. There are so many wonderful farms and stands that have been providing insanely delicious food for our communities. They are our lifeline, especially in times like these.

HUGE shout out to Sodoma Farms in Brockport (my hometown)! They have a "we pick" and "you pick" option for strawberries, and a stand on East Ave in Brockport, right off of Sweden Walker Road. Run, don't walk.

These bad boys will be served tomorrow from 10am-5pm ✨while supples last✨. If they fly, they fly. And maaaaaaybe they could become a summer staple?

I think so.

Prepping Sodoma Farms strawberries for our fresh strawberry shortcakes TOMORROW!

We took the tops and made an incredible deep red, strawberry syrup for the strawberries to soak in tomorrow.

Then we will top it all off with a scoop of chilled homemade vanilla bean whipped cream.

There's so much flavor in these berries, the whole kitchen smells like them. And we may have had a few for quality control...

The front of the store is packed with all the delicious, small batch, made from scratch goodies you have come to know and love, and we are open until 3pm!

We have a lot going on this week! And some really fun items coming on Friday and Saturday!

🍓 I am getting flats of fresh Sodoma Farms strawberries to do strawberry shortcakes with homemade vanilla bean whipped cream on top for FRIDAY!

⚠️AND FLUFFERNUTTER IS BACK THIS WEEKEND with cranberry orange and OG for Cinnamon Roll Saturday!

Until then we will be packing our cases with a variety of yummy items as always and prepping for the weekend craziness.

Today we have:

-chocolate and OG French toast bake
-tiramisu slices
-fruity pebbles krispy
-chocolate cherry and funfetti marshmallow cheesecake slices
-cookies and cream whoopie pies
-apple pie and potato cheddar chive galettes

We have been busy busy this week!

I realize I have to be better are getting the cakes we make up in the front for pictures, and actually posting them! You guys have been keeping us busy with some really fun ones.
