The inception of TFS, the 40 days buddy system Tehillim group I voluntarily created last December, has been a source of incredible blessings. I’m thrilled to share that the group's positive energy, spirituality, and prayers have led to 6 engagements💍, with 3 couples already embarking on their journey of marriage 👰🏻‍♀️🤍🤵🏻.

The Tehillim group's impact goes beyond prayers alone. Alongside our prayers, I've been dedicating my time in matching Jewish singles from all denominations. Kita Dalet students each enjoyed creating a CHALLAH TREE in honor of the “New Year of the Trees.”

🌳 The Tu BiShvat “Seder” involves eating biblical foods native to the holy land. Fruits and the seven species of Israel typically grapes, figs, pomegranates, olives, or dates, mentioned in the Torah as food from the Holy Land 🇮🇱

How I Got Started...

Serving the Great Neck community for over 15 years, my passion for challah baking began at a local challah event. It was there that I vowed to teach others how to bake challah if I won the raffle for a “Magic Mill” mixer. Since winning the mixer, I've held countless private and public classes in honor or in memory of a loved one, fundraising events, bat mitzvah and social gatherings.

Additionally, I created a "Challah 4 Segula" group where I send out weekly emails with a name of a person who needs a special segula (good omen). [Email [email protected] to be included in my weekly emails].

Selling my challah dough happened by accident. Many women and working moms inquired about buying my dough as they either didn’t have the time to prepare or simply didn’t want the mess in their kitchen. Voila…”Sharona’s Dough 2 Go” was born!

Today, you can bring in that special aroma and essence of shabbat with fresh home baked challahs that YOU baked for your family. Be creative...shape, fill and top your challahs however you like!
