Thank you everyone for your continued support of Double Barrel. This has been an exciting year of fast-paced work, new challenges, and unbelievable growth. I have been so grateful for the opportunity to serve the community, our loyal customers, and all our partnered businesses.
Now to the sad part. Due to life changes, I will no longer be able to run the restaurant as I once did. The restaurant requires time and love that I can no longer fully provide. As much as I would have loved to continue this humble restaurant for years to come, I feel God is pushing me to a different path, one where I am more available to my family and church.
While it was not my intention to move on so soon, I want to give the same opportunity to someone as it was given to me so if you have ever dreamed of owning your own small restaurant, coffee shop and/or bakery, this is your opportunity. Whether you want to continue an established business or create your own vision, the possibilities are endless.
To clarify, I am not moving on from the restaurant because I failed or business is bad. Quite the opposite actually. Business has been great, our loyal customers continue to show love and support, and I couldn’t be more appreciative. What I said above is the honest truth and if there is one thing I have learned from this journey, it’s that owning a restaurant is not easy and if you don’t have the time to devote to it it’s not fair to anyone. Life changes have come quicker than expected and that is something that I can not control.
