Last month, I went to the beautiful state of Hawaii. After finishing the scenic Diamond Head Crater Hike in Oahu, we climbed back down the now extinct volcano and were welcomed by a faint rainbow over the hills.

This boxy beauty’s got 90° angles 📐 , gold painted floral texture and an abundance of ivory flowers. A classic glam square is trademark and I was so hyped to try out her original style. Sharp edges and straight angles are tough 🥵 but I loved the end result.

Designed this beautiful cupcake tower with a lovely bride and earliest supporters! Cascading fresh florals surrounded a variety of 150 cupcakes and topped with a small two tier cake for the couple. Every step of the design process was a delight including the couple’s custom cake topper - a bride and groom silhouette with their golden retriever pup!

This lovely bride returned to create her wedding reception cake this fall after she and her husband had an intimate ceremony earlier this summer. We included the buttercream rosettes from her ceremony cake and added some artistic flair with marbled pink buttercream and geometric gold lines. 🌹 𝐿𝒪𝒱𝐸 🦢


This was the first ever wedding cake I made one year and one day ago! When my longtime childhood friend asked me to make her wedding cake for her intimate ceremony surrounded by loved ones, I was up to the challenge but also terrified. I actually stayed up the entire night, repeatedly passing my bench scraper 1000 times to make the cake smooth. When I was finally happy with the results as dawn broke, I actually cried. I don’t know what it is, but when you spend hours on a wedding cake and pour your heart and soul into perfecting it - it’s very emotional. It’s tears of relief but also a grand sense of accomplishment.

It’s truly a divine miracle when someone finds their perfect match and their forever partner. This couple truly are each other’s soulmates and bring out the best in each other. They are each other’s rock. Their nuptials were broadcasted live across Zoom during unprecedented times but you could feel the love through the screen. I cried again during the zoom. It was a full day of crying but this cake was worth the pictures by the amazing Amanda Gillet and the couple’s overwhelming appreciation.
