Y’ALL. LOOK AT THAT TRAY. 🤎🍎

We’ve been BUSY this morning — our Original Cinnamon Rolls are already SOLD OUT 😭 — but don’t you worry, there is still PLENTY worth coming to Perryville for today!

Breakfast has Blueberry Crumble Cinnamon Rolls, fresh KINLY Donuts, and Blueberry Fruit Parfaits.

The bakery case is LOADED with our famous Banana Pudding, Pumpkin Pie, and a whole case full of those big, gorgeous CARAMEL APPLES. 🍎

And today we’ve got a couple Kentucky treats we are extra excited about:

🥃 Bottom House Bourbon Butter Pecan Cookies

AND brand new today…

🥃 HOUSE-MADE BOURBON BALLS — dipped in chocolate and topped with honey-roasted pecans. Y’ALL. 😭🤎

For lunch we’re serving Broccoli Cheddar Soup + Grilled Cheese, or grab a Chicken Salad Croissant or Pimento Cheese Croissant + chips.

TUESDAY IS LOOKIN’ REAL GOOD AROUND HERE. 🤎

Doors open at 8 AM tomorrow and we’ve been busy getting the good stuff ready.

🍎 White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Caramel Apples — homemade caramel, white chocolate and loaded down with macadamia nuts.

🤎 Homemade Oatmeal Creme Pies — and if you’ve had one before, then you already know… these things do NOT stay in the case long. 😂

Also, lunch is Chicken Salad or Pimento Cheese Croissant and Chips!

We’ll have GIANT fluffy cinnamon rolls, waffles, womlettes, a case full of fresh-baked goodness and the whole Fall drink menu ready to go. ☕️🍂

And can we just say — Saturday was incredible. After the week we had, seeing y’all walk back through those doors meant more to us than you know. We are so dang grateful.

Now we’re rolling into a brand new week, coffee flowing and kitchen baking.

Alright y’all, I got asked a question this week that’s been sittin’ with me ever since…

Why do people come?

And it got me thinking about all of YOU.

Because goodness knows, finding a parking spot on Merchants Row some days takes a little patience, a little prayer and maybe circling the block once or twice. 😂 And still, y’all find one and come walking through our door.

So I just wanna know… why Charlie Horse?

What makes you come see us? And what makes you come back?

And while we’re being nosy 😂 — how did you hear about us in the first place? Facebook? TikTok? A friend? Just passing through Perryville? Did somebody tell you, “Honey, you gotta go try that place”? 😂

We spend so much time on this side of the counter trying to make Charlie Horse a place where folks feel welcome, get something GOOD, and leave a little happier than they came.

But I’d love to hear what it feels like from YOUR side of the counter.

So tell me. How’d you find us… and why do you keep coming back?

Y’ALL. Tomorrow morning at 8AM WE GET BACK AT IT!!! 😭🙌🏼

And I cannot even tell you how ready we are to see everybody walk through that door again.

We’re easing back into things a little tomorrow 😂 so no breakfast bake just yet, BUT we’ll have:

KINLEY Donuts
Breakfast sandwiches
Waffles & Womlettes

And for lunch — Chicken Salad Croissants or Pimento Cheese Croissants with chips!

After the week we’ve had, I think we’re just ready for a normal Saturday at Charlie Horse. Coffee pouring, the shop full, everybody talking over everybody, and us running around like crazy. 😂

We’ve missed y’all. Like REALLY missed y’all.

Well, y’all… we can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. 🤎

And goodness gracious, are we happy to see it.

After a week full of troubleshooting, phone calls, praying, waiting and making some pretty big decisions, we have some GOOD news to share…

Charlie Horse has a new-to-us espresso machine headed into her new home. 🥹

This was a big decision for our little shop — a five-figure investment that certainly wasn’t on this week’s bingo card 😂 — but when it came time to decide what was next, we knew exactly what we wanted to do.

Keep going.

We believe in this little shop. We believe in what’s happening right here in Perryville. And after the love y’all have poured over us this week, we believe more than ever that this little place is worth betting on.

We have had DOZENS of phone calls asking when we’re opening back up. Messages checking on us. Folks stopping us to ask. Friends and fellow businesses offering to help.

And every single time, we’ve thought the same thing…

How in the world did we get so blessed with y’all?

Tomorrow we’ll spend the day learning our new girl, dialing everything in and making plenty of practice cups — because one thing around here hasn’t changed: we still don’t want y’all paying for bad coffee. 😂

And if everything goes the way we’re hoping…

SATURDAY MORNING, WE’RE COMING HOME. 🤎

And mercy, we are ready.

We’re ready to hear that door open. Ready to hear y’all hollering “good morning.” Ready for the espresso machine humming, the case full of sweets, breakfast cooking and our little shop feeling like Charlie Horse again.

So come hungry. Come thirsty. Bring somebody with you. We’ve got some making up to do after keeping y’all without your coffee all week. 😂

This week certainly didn’t go the way we planned, but the Lord has a mighty good way of reminding us that a detour doesn’t mean the end of the road.

We are grateful. We are excited. And we are SO ready to serve y’all again. This weekend look perfect for a Merchants Row Stroll!

Hey friends — one more day. 🤍

Unfortunately, we are still closed today while we wait on the final pieces we need to get our espresso machine back up and running.

We know it’s frustrating. Trust me, nobody wants those doors open more than we do. But we also meant it when we said we don’t want y’all paying for bad coffee — and we’re not opening until we can serve you the Charlie Horse way.

The good news? Parts are moving, repairs are happening, and we are getting closer. 🙌🏼

Thank y’all for checking on us, encouraging our girls, sharing our posts, and being so incredibly patient this week. This little hiccup doesn’t change where we’re headed — it’s just part of owning a little coffee shop with some big ol’ dreams.

Keep an eye right here. The minute we know when those doors are opening, y’all will know too.

And when we get that espresso machine humming again… we might just have to make up for all this lost coffee. 😉🤎

Sometimes you get so caught up in the busy that you forget to stop and realize how lucky you are to have good people standing beside you. Tonight was one of those little reminders for me. 🤎 (we are missing one - because she’s off to college 😭)

They show up. They work hard. They love on our customers. They handle the crazy days, the sold-out days, the “what in the world is happening” days 😂… and somehow we still laugh through all of it.

Charlie Horse may have started as my little dream, but these girls have put a whole lot of themselves into it too. And I hope they know how proud I am of them — not just for the employees they are, but for the young women they are becoming. 🥹

If one of these girls has ever made your coffee, fixed your breakfast, handed you a sweet treat, or just made you smile when you walked through our door — leave them a little love in the comments. I want THEM to read it.

We are so ready to see y’all again! Soon! I promise!

Hey friends. 🤎 I hate making this post, but Charlie Horse will be closed today while we wait for all the parts we need to get our espresso machine back up and running.

Thank y’all SO much for bearing with us this week. We know we’ve left Perryville a little under-caffeinated, and we appreciate your patience more than you know. 😂

And don’t you worry… when we finally get these doors back open, we’re gonna have a little something special waiting on y’all to make up for the lack of Charlie Horse coffee this week. ☕️🤎
