We are back with another Saturday pick-up at your favorite Asian market, Winnie Superette in downtown Nevada City (4/4) ✨

Our Japanese Salt Bread has quickly become a favorite (we sold out in 30 minutes last time 🤯). We’re debuting a new flavor you won't want to miss, especially if you love pain au chocolat. Trust us, this one is a must!

This round is pre-order only, so be sure to order ahead to secure your treats — we won’t have extras available for walk-up.

What is Japanese Salt Bread? 🍞

A newer development in the baking world. Salt Bread (Shio Pan) originated in the Ehime Prefecture in Japan around 2014. This buttery pastry is often described as a hybrid between a croissant and soft dinner roll. The magic of salt bread is the contrast between the pillowy, cloud-like interior and deliciously crisp bottom. It’s what makes people go back for seconds & thirds! There’s really nothing like it!
