While we are no longer open at the bakery, we made a choice we feel so good about. We have passed the torch to a team who we truly believe will continue to put our community first. 💛

To our Auburn and Grass Valley family,

It’s hard to put into words what The Gristmill Bakery & Deli has meant to us over the past 34 years. My family has poured our hearts into every loaf, sandwich, and cake that’s left our kitchen and in return, this community has given us more love and support than we could ever ask for.

From graduations and golf tournaments to after-school snacks and morning coffees, we’ve had the honor of being part of your everyday moments and your biggest celebrations. You’ve grown up with us and we’ve grown alongside you.

As many of you know, Mikki’s health has taken a turn, and she’s made the brave choice to spend her remaining time surrounded by family, peace, and love. With that, the bakery that has been a cornerstone of this community will be changing hands.

We invite you to come celebrate The Gristmill’s final week October 7th through October 11th and share in one last round of memories, stories, and smiles. Let’s make this final week as sweet and full of love as the decades before it.
