2 years ago today, I was sitting at lunch after church eating with friends and I received a text that would change my life and the daily operation at the bakery. The helper I had by me for the previous 22 months wasn't coming back. Right then and there I felt a peace come over me and decided that I would do it by myself and I've not looked back since. I've made it 2 years all by myself , from the scheduling, ordering, baking, decorating, planning, accounting and everything that happens with business, I've done it. I've added so many things and continue to see this business grow everyday. When things get hard , I always go harder. Grit and determination has gotten me through the good and hard times, and I"m now on year 15 in business. Its not easy but its what I choose to do and will always do. If there is one thing I can say I hear on a weekly basis it is this," I don"t know how you get all of this done by yourself, it's simply amazing!" God blessed me with a talent to share with everyone, and he has blessed me every step of the way , from keeping me motivated, to blessing me with the best customers. I have meet so many wonderful people and formed many friendships through this business and I will be forever grateful for the dream that became my reality. I have the best customers and I apprecaite you all. I wouldnt be here today , doing what I love without each and everyone that walks through the doors and supports my small business.
