We got a break in the Oregon rain so I made him get outside for a minute to soak up that infrared light and vitamin d to help his healing.

This doesn’t get easier. Having animals comes with heartache.

I tried everything I could. The night before my husband said that she needed to be out with her flock. He already knew she wouldn’t make it. He didn’t want her to die alone. I didn’t realize that at the time. (This was caught by our Blink camera when I went to check on her.)

This life is hard. Yes, I buried her in my garden. Yes, I will plant yellow tulips over her in the fall. Yes, I will love my animals and cherish each one of their lives. Because isn’t that the point?

My son is homeschooled, and I’m starting his pre-k next week; I took him school shopping today. It was awesome!📚✏️📖

My mom said, “you took him SCHOOL shopping?! Well I have my own opinion on that.” That’s nice, I don’t care.

I LOOOVED school shopping as a kid, and believe he deserves that memory too, even if his schooling takes place at our kitchen table.

I miss my Dad 😢

It’s been almost a year and a half and I still don’t feel like who I was pre-his passing.

Life is short. Live in the moment, but also…take the damn videos!

The memories, the videos, his shirts, his watch, and a pair of Nike Zoom Freak 2s in red and yellow are the only things I have left of him. Thankful for all of it!
