I spent 13 years as a national event producer, producing events all over the country for clients like the NFL, Reebok, Paw Patrol, Corona, PNC Bank just to name a few. When I say I lived in hotels, 10 months a year, I actually did-and loved every minute of my crazy 5 cities/week suitcase and hotel life. I've been to every state except Alaska and more countries than I can count. In 2018, I moved to
Dallas and in between work contracts, decided to get really good at making the most adorable cookies you've ever seen. (It turns out if you watch enough YouTube videos and practice 10 hours a day, you can get great at anything!)
I had a lot of friends and family asking to order cookies from me and so Sunny with a Chance of Sprinkles was born! In 2019, I was honored to be part of American Food Crafting's Food Design Team alongside some big Food Network stars. On March 2nd, 2020, I signed the biggest contract of my career in the experiential marketing/event production industry and was set to manage and produce events in 70 cities over a 6 month span. It isn't expected to make a comeback any time soon. I decided to throw all my energy into my small cottage law bakery business with a goal to make every occasion worth celebrating! In August 2020, we decided to move from Dallas, TX, back to Grand Rapids (it had been 13 years since I lived back home!) so that we could make Sunny with a Chance of Sprinkles even bigger! We moved into the home my grandparents built 70 years ago and turned it into a delightful home bakery! It's great to be back in the town I grew up in! We have big plans for this sweet little business and can not thank you enough for supporting us and our sweet little small business!
