🗞️🗞️midnite is moving 🚨🚨ive been trying to find a way to tell everyone this, and it feels like a devastating breakup w/ GR 💔 i’m just not happy here, and i haven’t been for a while. i get very emotional when i think about this season of my life and when i started midnite.. it started as “what do i do with all this time off” during the quarantine. i baked whatever rolled around in my head, and it turned into something.. that i’m honestly so proud of that i bawled my eyes out writing this. thank you everyone (from the bottom of my goddamn heart), great customers and nice people helping me along the way. y’all have supported me through some of the wildest times in my life, and i have been able to trust that you’ll buy my saturday pre-order menu so i can pay the other bakers well and enjoy life at a nice pace.
truthfully these last few months have been difficult. the tough, feisty women in my family have all had some scary health stuff and i’m worn out and needed to reset.
i have been wanting to leave grand rapids for so many reasons but stayed because midnite has been fun and worth it.. but i’m not a dang tree and my lease is up⏰ i have legs and i’m ready to move lol! so i juust found a cute little house in detroit (well hamtramck but close enough) & went for it 🍾
do i have a plan? no! have i ever? not really🙂↔️
📡📡📡 if anyone knows of any commercial kitchens for rent (detroit area), someone who can lend their kitchen in the early morning hours to a crazy baker, or any other cool connections, please send them my way 💌
