Hey friends! I'm looking to rent time in a licensed commercial kitchen 2–3 days per week in the Grand Ledge or West Lansing area.
My little cottage bakery has been growing, and I'm ready to take the next step! While I strictly follow Michigan Cottage Food Law, moving into a licensed kitchen would allow me to expand my menu and offer some of the delicious treats I'm currently unable to sell from my home kitchen—things like cream cheese frostings, specialty fillings, candied fruit toppings, fruit compotes, and other goodies that have been sitting on my "someday" list.
If you know of any available kitchen spaces, churches, community centers, restaurants, or shared-use kitchens with rental opportunities, I'd love to hear from you. Any leads, recommendations, or connections would be greatly appreciated.
Before anyone asks—yes, I've already looked into the licensing requirements and next steps for my business, and I know Allen Street is currently full. I've been playing by the rules from day one, but I'm ready to bring you the REALLY good stuff!
Thank you for supporting small businesses and helping The Wicked Whisk continue to grow. ❤️🧁
