In the early morning hours on Friday, January 6, Grand Junction Regional 911 dispatcher, Angel, received a call from a mother who was going into labor very quickly. Angel calmly gave instructions to the mother and assisted in the delivery of a baby girl. When the baby girl wasn't breathing immediately after birth, Angel gave lifesaving instructions, assisting in saving the little baby girl’s life.
Angel has served this community as a 911 dispatcher for over five years and this is the second time she’s helped in the delivery of a baby. Well done, Angel! You are truly a guardian looking over the safety of our community.
