I was so excited when I found out my niece was pregnant. 💖 Then we learned she was having a baby girl… and another baby girl, TWINS! 💕 😍 That’s when I knew we would need to throw her an amazing baby shower to celebrate.

Last weekend we had that amazing baby shower for her and of course, I had to make some treats for it! 🧁🍪🍓

Everything turned out beautiful for the shower and by the end there were no desserts left behind (which is a good sign everything was delicious as well). Now my mind is already planning some ideas for an epic first birthday party for the girls… 😆

My daughter took the next big step into the world of baking by not only helping with the baking and decorating but for the first time designing her cousins birthday cake!

Started out with a sketch and a plan and ended up with a farm themed chocolate cake that was a big hit with the birthday girl! 🐷🥕🌽🍅

From her vision we created a fully stocked vegetable garden, barn, and a couple of happy pigs out of chocolate. She worked hard sculpting and painting a scarecrow made out of gum paste (which became a “sleeping farmer” when its weight wouldn’t allow it to stand upright 😅). Overall, super impressed with her creativity and proud of her adaptability when things didn’t go exactly as planned. ☺️ No doubt she’ll be running the show here very soon.
