Sister Sister Sourdough Co. is extremely thankful to have added this amazing market to their schedule! In just a few weeks, I have gained so many new customers, met so many wonderful faces, and have been given the opportunity to share my products with so many of you. Although I attend many other farmers markets and events, I have only been at the Town of Schodack Community Market a few weeks now. I plan to be back every week, as well as upcoming years! I have noticed some confusion between the other sourdough baker and I, and I just wanted to share my page with everyone to try and limit some of that confusion! We are two different businesses! We bake using different ovens, different processes, different fermentation times, different flour, flavors, and different shapes. This just means you get two of us now!
Everything I make is with sourdough, and it is all naturally fermented! From my cookies, to my muffins, and my bread, to my croissants, everything is long fermented in a way that is easier for your body to digest! I cook my products in a bakery style stone oven, using steam and lava rocks to give your bread that crispy and golden crust we all know and love!
