Hey, folks! We're going to substitute a hike next Saturday (06/20) for our usual group run. The plan is to traverse the Moat Mountain range (see the map included in this post) from south to north. We'll meet up at 8 a.m. at the trailhead for Diana's Baths and North Moat Mountain, leave a couple cars there, and caravan to the start of the hike at the South Moat trailhead. Because the end of the route is only about half a mile beyond Diana's Baths, there will be the option of taking a dip in a bracing natural pool before we start the return trip. Let us know if you'd like to be involved!

Happy weekend! If you haven't already realized it, the very best way to kick off a Saturday morning is with some healthy physical activity, and we're here to help facilitate that. Just show up tomorrow morning at 8:00 in front of Sullivan House Bakery, and the rest will take care of itself. There'll be walkers, joggers, runners, coffee drinkers, donut eaters, movie goers, readers, and people with all manner of interests and occupations. Come on along and see for yourself how much fun a Saturday morning can be!

Of course, the post-exercise coffee and treats will be an integral part of the experience as well. It will be a lovely morning, so don't miss out!

Good morning, and happy Friday! This is your weekly reminder that we will be getting together tomorrow morning at 8, right in front of Sullivan House Bakery, for our usual Saturday morning jaunt. Rain or shine, we'll get some exercise outdoors followed by coffee and friendly conversation. Be there or be square!

Happy Sunday, all! We're planning to have a special Memorial Day edition of our group run tomorrow morning at 8 a.m. Since Sullivan House Bakery will be closed, we'll meet instead near the entrance to Aroma Joe's Coffee that faces Hannaford, and we'll stop in there after our outing for coffee (or whatever happens to be your morning beverage of choice). There's no better time or place to get back into the running groove than Memorial Day Weekend in Maine.

Mount Cutler was a lot of fun today. Our group for the hike numbered 12 in all, ranging in age from 2 to 66, and the weather couldn't have been more perfect.
