A few months ago I posted that I was not currently taking orders but shared no context.
I was feeling very burnt out with everything involved in running my own business. Not the baking but all the other stuff.
For the last 4 months I have been substituting at my local elementary and middle school and really loving it especially all the special education classes. This summer I will be working with a catering company on Saturdays plus a few wedding cakes that were previously scheduled. In the fall I plan on coming back to baking ā€œfullā€ time. I may be more picky about the orders I take. I still want to substitute occasionally.
