Good Morning Everyone! First I want to say thank you for an awesome national donut day and weekend last week, this marks our 9th year of us taking over donut connection! From that day till now this dream has stayed alive with your support, a shoestring, our love and dedication to this wild and wonderful industry & Joannas epic negotiating skills.

Restaurant equipment is extremely expensive.

(Side note a transformer just blew and power is out to the shopping center. True story, never a dull moment)

Back to those negotiating skills. Every now and then she will find just the perfect piece for a great deal on FB market place and yesterday was one of those days… the down side for customers. Getting this thing in here today and set in its home will require us to close donut production. We will still be serving cheesesteaks from 10-2 will full offering tomorrow. *provided power is restored. We will update this post when we know more about the power issue for today.

With the kids out of school for summer we have our days full and our nights busy making Goose Creek’s freshest Doughnuts!

Of course we had to go out to Hickory Bluff Berry Farm this morning right when they opened at 10.

Lookout because these 4 kiddos can pick some strawberries now! We played on the playground until we were ready for a cold lemonade and some boiled peanuts.
