Good afternoon everyone! Just a little update from my post this morning…

I know that sometimes there is little to no service at the stand for those using Venmo as a payment option. I know many customers leave with every intention of paying once they regain service, and sometimes reconnecting can take a bit. And of course, life gets busy and things can occasionally be forgotten once we get moving. So I just wanted to post a friendly reminder 😊

I’m happy to say the customers came forward and paid. I truly don’t assume it’s theft - more often than not, it’s simply one of the situations I mentioned above.

Once the new shed is open, I do plan to add WiFi to help make payments easier and more reliable for everyone.

Thank you all for continuing to support the stand and for being such amazing customers. Enjoy this beautiful day! ☀️

Three years ago today, I opened our little farm stand. 🐓💕

A few months later, I started selling cake pops… then came the chocolate chip cookies and whoopie pies. A year after opening, I finally chose a name that felt just right- The Blushing Hen

What started as a simple stand has grown into something so special, and I’m beyond grateful for everyone who has supported this little dream along the way. From farm fresh eggs to sweet treats, every visit, order, share, and kind word has meant the world to me.

And now, we’re working on the next exciting chapter- upgrading the stand into a bakery shed! I can’t wait to continue growing and sharing this dream with all of you.
