Thank you City of Golden, Colorado - Municipal Government Grateful Bread will be open Saturday 10 am - 2:30 pm at 429 Violet St with fresh baked breads and pastries- our normal pre-Christmas Saturday shop was closed by the power outage. Hope to see lots of shoppers on the 27th!

The City is actively working with our partners on plans and ideas to help support businesses throughout Golden. Our local economy matters, and we know this has been a difficult stretch. Here are a few things currently underway:

- The City and Visit Golden are sharing and boosting a community-wide “shop local” message throughout January.
- Downtown City parking garages on Jackson Street, the Arapahoe Lot (1211 Arapahoe St) and Miners Alley Lot are free through January 1, with additional free parking generously supported by the Foss family at the Mesa Meadows lot
- While the Olde Golden Holidays Committee is not able to bring back Jingle on the Avenue this year due to timing, coordination, and resource constraints, we are developing a two-week January campaign encourage people to visit and support businesses citywide. More details are coming soon, and it’s shaping up to be a fun way to bring energy back into our community.

This has been an incredibly challenging time, and we are grateful for the way Golden continues to show up for one another. Thank you for supporting your neighbors, local businesses, and the community we all call home.
