Hi Glen Hills Golfers!
I wanted to officially introduce myself to the Glenwood City community—my name is Chris, and I’m the new Manager here at Glen Hills. My path to the clubhouse has been a bit of a journey across the state. I grew up in Eagle (about 45 mins west of Milwaukee) and started my career in the Fox Valley Area working in IT.
After 12 years of IT, primarily in K-12, where I also coached a variety of sports for the Middle School and High School, my family and I moved to the area in 2023. I decided to follow my passion for the game and started from the ground up—literally—on the grounds crew at River Falls Golf Club. I worked my way into management there and spent some time at Bellwood Oaks before landing here at Glen Hills this offseason. Believe it or not, I actually got my start in golf operations years ago interning for the Texas Golf Association, where I spent a summer helping run tournaments for everyone from juniors to top-tier amateurs.
When I’m not at the course, I’m hanging out with my wife, Cassie (who is an amazing nurse), our two kids, Owen (3) and Parker (1), or pulling for my favorite Wisconsin sports teams! Don't hold it against me.. I know we are closer to Minnesota than Green Bay!🧀⚾️👐🦌
I’ve been working closely with Todd this winter to ensure a smooth transition and you'll still see him as we open up the course this spring. Hoping he can spend more time on the course with all of you and enjoy retirement! He's been a big help so far.
I can’t wait to meet all the regulars and get the season started (hopefully soon). Until then, we are busy getting things ready for another successful season!
