An important message to all my customers (with a picture from our first market) -

Meg here! At the end of this year, I will be stepping away from Alchemy for a little while. We will be finishing out the rest of the calendar year at the Glens Falls Farmers Market, but come January we will no longer be there regularly for the time being.

This was not an easy decision for me. This was our 5th year in business and over these 5 years we have met so many incredible people. We’ve had strangers become customers become good friends. The other vendors at the market have become a second family to us. I have loved serving on the board of the farmers market as well. I hate to let any one of you down. That’s why it’s been such a hard decision for me to make. But it’s time for me to step back and reevaluate the business.

Please, stop by during this last month at the market and say hi. Get your last bagels and order some for Christmas.

You can think of it as a pause. This isn’t a forever goodbye. I believe Alchemy will be back. Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be a baker and own my own business. And I have achieved just that. The little girl who dreamed of that finally had her dream come true. And although it’s been a tough road, I wouldn’t change it for anything.

A huge shout out to our families, who always believed in and supported us throughout this whole adventure. To the Glens Falls Farmers Market, for accepting us into the market back in 2019 and always being a home for us. To Eric and Billie Jean Unkauf at The Shirt Factory, for helping us with our business from the beginning and being our home base and kitchen for the last five years. To my husband, for being my partner in the kitchen and in life, for being my biggest supporter and critic, for helping me achieve my dream and for loving me through all of it. And most importantly THANK YOU our customers and followers. For taking a chance on the new kids who made crazy rainbow bagels and bagels with beer. For letting us be a part of so many of your special days (birthdays, weddings, anniversaries, baptism, bat mitzvahs, holidays, etc.). I hold so many great memories in my heart of meeting so many of you and for enjoying our product. All I ever wanted to do was bake and make people happy. And because of you, I was able to do that.

Looking to make things a little easier this Thanksgiving? 🍽️ We’ve got you covered! Thanksgiving preorders are up and ordering is open!! 🦃 Read below for all the details on how to order, pickup location and more! 🍗🥧🍂

🍁 preorders are open now through November 20th at 7pm.

🍁 pickup will be on Wednesday November 22nd between 3-5 pm at The Shirt Factory. Once your order is placed, we will provide a phone number to call or text when you arrive for pickup and we will bring your order out to you!

It’s been awhile since we’ve done preorders (or macarons!) and we are bringing them back for this weekend!! 👻 You can preorder your Halloween rainbow bagels and Halloween macarons for pickup this Saturday at the Glens Falls Farmers’ Market 🌈🥯 We will be taking a vacation for the next two weeks, so this is the time to stock up!!
