Weekend prep is officially underway. 🤎🍞

Around here, sourdough doesn’t wait until Friday! The starters are happy, the jars are out, and I’m already getting things ready for another weekend at Porch & Crumb.

There’s something about these quiet prep days in the kitchen that I love, knowing that in just a few days, all of this will turn into fresh loaves headed out to the porch. 🥖

A little “meet the baker” moment 🤎

Most of the time when you see me on here, I’m covered in flour, pulling something out of the oven, packing preorders or stocking the Porch Bakery. But Porch & Crumb is actually something I do outside of my regular full-time job.

This is my work crew! 🖤 Yesterday we snapped this picture together and I thought it would be fun to share a little glimpse of the person behind all the baking.

During the week, I’m working in aesthetic medicine, and somewhere in between work and everyday life, you’ll find me in my kitchen baking for Porch & Crumb. What started as something I simply loved doing has turned into this little business that I genuinely look forward to every week.

It’s definitely a lot of early mornings, late-night prep, flour everywhere and wondering why I decided to add one more thing to the menu 😂 but seeing you stop by the porch, place a preorder, come back for your favorites, or tell someone else about my little bakery makes it so worth it.

So, here’s a little peek at me outside the kitchen. 🖤
