🙋🏼♀️Let’s do a little Q&A with some questions I have had lately!
- Why don’t you do cream cheese frosting on your cinnamon rolls?
Under Michigan Cottage Law, we can not sell anything that needs to be refrigerated, such as cream cheese frosting. I can only use two approved recipes for buttercream frosting or I can do a glaze or ganache.
- I tried to order on your website but it said your products were unavailable?
My pre-orders are only open from Tuesday at 8am-Friday at 10am. I bake most everything for the stand and for pre-orders on Fridays. It makes it difficult when I have more orders coming in while in the middle of my prep/baking. If it is after the cut off time and you’d like to order something, you can always message me. I will let you know if I can add your order in or not.
- Can I special order from you?
Yes! My messages are always open for special orders! Some things that I have baked for lately have been birthdays, teacher gifts, new job treats, and just-because! We will discuss what you want, quantity, and an expected time frame. I always try to accommodate with what you need. Please give me ample time to prep and bake the order though.
- I ran out of jam. Can I get some before the weekend?
Yes! Just send me a message if you need anything from my stand. I can meet you somewhere local or leave it in the stand for you! This includes fruits and veggies.
- How much are your fruits and veggies?
We put our produce in the stand as donations-only. These are extras that we will not use in our home. We would rather someone enjoy them if they can! Our sign in the stand says “take what you need, pay what you can”.
- Do you sell bread?
Yes. I make sourdough discard sandwich bread as well as round sourdough boules. I do need orders for the round sourdough boules in advance, as it takes 2 days to prepare it.
- What forms of payment do you accept?
At this time we accept cash or Venmo. Our Venmo is posted in the stand.
