Pre‑spring has sprung here on the Toppmeyer hobby farm—the chickens are getting louder, the garden is getting muddier, the sourdough starter is bubbling, and the air has that “something’s coming” feeling!!
I hope your winter hibernation was peaceful and kind!! We’re excited to welcome the return of sunshine… and wanted to let everyone know we’re over here dusting off the cobwebs and getting ready for another season of growing, gathering, and sharing with our community!
We’ve been busy….. we’ve got plans drawn for a larger gated food garden, we’ve got our chick count ready and will be welcoming home some little ones next week, we created delicious new menu items for our farm-stand and they’re off pending approval (gluten free friends, I’m coming for you!), and we are just ready to go!
The first stand stock of this year will be on Saturday, March 7th at 8AM! I’ll share the exact menu the week of, but can promise the classics will be there…. Sourdough loaves, gluten free loaves, cinnamon rolls, jelly, cookies, bread dipping oil, and brownies, and prices are the same as last year.
