My geese and ducks have been working together behind my back and had a clutch of 11 eggs yesterdayā€¦. My brave son took the attack to gather them and we candled 6 out of 11 fertile. So here we are, mid October with eggs in the incubator šŸ¤¦ā€ā™€ļøšŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø

We meet again, bread doughā€¦. Itā€™s been awhile!

Between the high Texas temperatures this summer, the seemingly endless drought, and being pregnant, I havenā€™t baked bread since spring. And this lady is done buying store bought bread! (Even though it was still 90 today!)

Today was the first day of 5th grade for my 2 middle kids! We took it slow this morning, itā€™s going to be a different kind of year planned and I donā€™t want them discouraged or overwhelmed. They are so capable of more than even I understand and I canā€™t wait to watch how we tackle new challenges and more littles in the mix.
