Hello to my supportive community!
The farm stand is slowly re-opening for the season. My husband is working hard to get our beautiful flowers started. We will be offering our homegrown flower bouquets starting in late May, early June.
This farm stand has been a way for me to pay for out of pocket medical costs to help me heal from stage 4 cancer that I was diagnosed with 6 years ago.
This past winter I was blessed with news that I was in remission. Unfortunately, it was a false remission and by mid February I was given 2 weeks to live. The small intestine cancer is wrapping around my jejunum and suffocating what little portion of my digestive tract that remains.
I’ve managed to hang in there. Roswell is my main care team but they cannot offer me chemotherapy for ethical reasons because they do not think it is going to work.
Therefore since late February I’ve been traveling bi-weekly to The Block Center in Chicago, where I am receiving chemotherapy and some out of pocket treatments.
If you’ve been to my farm stand over the years, you may have noticed that I offer baked goods.
Unfortunately with my lack of energy I haven’t been able to bake anything since the winter holidays.
This is where my take it and bake it Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookie bags are making their debut. Each bag is $16 and it makes 2 dozen high quality cookies.
The recipe is posted with a QR code on the bag. You can make cookies or one large sheet pan cookie if you want to save time.

Every sale will help me travel to Chicago.
(We also have jars of local honey for $12.)
The honey and Ghirardelli chocolate chip cookie bags will be out for sale at the farm stand 24/7. Cash and Venmo are welcome at the self service roadside stand located at 2559 North Forest Rd. in Getzville. Pictures of the products are in the comment section below.
