Okay, but why are these cookie cakes so fun to make?! I absolutely loved the theme for this celebration, and this design fit it perfectly. I normally lean toward cursive lettering, but for this one I felt a more playful style matched the vibe so much better.

Thank you for trusting me to be a small part of your celebrations-it truly means so much when you choose my small bakery over a big-box store. Every order allows me to keep creating treats I genuinely love making, and I’m so grateful for each and every one of you!

This order included a chocolate chip cookie cake decorated with chocolate and vanilla buttercream, plus 30 chocolate chip cookies topped with flaky sea salt. Can you say YUM?! 🤤

It was one of my busiest weeks yet between appointments, my other job, bakery orders, and family responsibilities- and there were definitely moments where I wondered how I was going to juggle it all. But seeing your smiles when I deliver your custom orders makes every late night and long day worth it.

Not gonna lie… I have a sourdough problem.
I just can’t stop baking it!

I made three loaves in one week. The first one turned out so good that I ended up giving most of it away as samples… so of course I had to bake another one for myself (which I quickly turned into French toast). And then today I thought, you know what? It’s time to test something new-a Cinnamon Raisin inclusion sourdough boule. For science and recipe testing, of course.

And now I need your input…

Should this go on the menu?

Here’s what makes it special:
✔️ Completely gluten and soy free
✔️ No wheat starch (unlike most gluten-free sourdoughs)
✔️ Made with my custom bread flour blend (used in my cinnamon rolls + focaccia)
✔️ Starter built from sorghum + millet flour
✔️ Contains dairy

As someone with both Celiac and a wheat allergy myself, creating a sourdough that’s both safe and actually delicious has been a labor of love-and this one might be my favorite yet.
