One of my favorite things about Acts of Loaves is getting to be part of life’s sweetest moments. 🤍

This week, our cinnamon rolls became a birthday “cake” for a precious young lady turning 13. Eight warm cinnamon rolls stacked together, topped with our classic vanilla frosting, a touch of flowers from the garden, and candles eventually added around the table to celebrate her. 🍒

As I made her order, I found myself praying that this next year of her life would be filled with confidence, joy, wisdom, and the reminder that she is so deeply loved by Jesus, remembering how exciting and tender this chapter of life can be.

I love that bread and baked goods can become more than just something served at the table. They become part of gathering, celebrating, and loving people well.

And honestly, cinnamon rolls make a pretty sweet birthday cake too. 🎂

Heavenly Father,

Thank You for every teacher and every nurse who serves so faithfully each day. Thank You for the way they pour so selflessly into others with love, compassion, and care.

When they feel weary, remind them that their labor in doing good is not in vain, and that in due season there will be a harvest if they do not give up. Renew their strength, Lord, and fill what feels empty. Remind them You are always with them.

For the teachers, give them wisdom, patience, and joy as they guide and shape the hearts before them. For the nurses, be their strength and help, uphold them with steady hands, and remind them they are never alone.

Surround them with a peace that goes beyond understanding, guarding their hearts and minds in You. Let them feel seen, appreciated, and deeply valued, even in the quiet, unseen moments.

Thank You for using them to reflect Your love so beautifully to those around them.

In Jesus name, Amen.

Heavenly Father,
You are able to provide, to heal, to open doors, to grow what we place in Your hands. We have seen Your faithfulness, and we trust Your power.

But today, Lord, we ask for something deeper. Give us faith that is not dependent on the outcome.

Faith that says, “You can.”
Faith that trusts, “You will.”
And even if You do not… we will still believe.

Just as You were present in the fire, be with us in every season, in the waiting, in the stretching, in the refining. Burn away anything in us that is not from You, fear, control, striving, and replace it with trust, peace, and surrender. Teach us to stand firm, not because life is easy, but because You are near.

Let our lives, and every loaf we make, reflect a faith that does not waver when things do not go as planned, a faith that still worships, still obeys, still trusts.

Because You are worthy… no matter the outcome. We choose You, in abundance and in lack, in answered prayers and in silence.

Even if You do not, You are still good.
Even if You do not, You are still God.
Even if You do not, we will still believe.

In Jesus name, Amen.

He is risen 🤍

Today we remember the greatest truth.

Jesus lived a perfect life,
died on the cross for our sins,
and was laid in the tomb.

It seemed like the end…

But on the third day,
He rose again.

He is alive!

Because of Him, we have
forgiveness, hope, and new life.

This is the Gospel.
This is why we celebrate.

Praying your home is filled with peace, joy,
and the reminder that He is risen today🤍

“He is not here, for He has risen, as He said.” – Matthew 28:6

Today is Good Friday.

The day everything looked lost…
and everything was actually being won.

Jesus, the Bread of Life, was broken.
Not by accident. Not by man alone.
But by the will of the Father, for us.

He carried the weight of our sin.
Every mistake and every shame.
Placed on Him.

He was pierced.
He was crushed.
He gave up His life.

And in that moment, it looked like the end.

But salvation was at work.

The cross was not defeat.
It was the beginning of redemption.
The price was being paid in full.

Because of Him, we are forgiven.
Because of Him, we are made new.
Because of Him, death does not get the final word.

Today we remember.
Today we sit in the weight of what it cost.

But we do not lose hope…

Sunday is coming.
