Sugared Perfection Baking Business: Order Placement, Pickup Times, and Retainer Fee Policy
At Sugared Perfection, we take great pride in providing our customers with the highest quality baked goods. To ensure an exceptional experience for both our customers and our team, we have outlined clear guidelines for order placement, retainer fees, and pickup times. These policies are designed to streamline your ordering process, maintain consistency in our service, and help us best accommodate your needs.
1. Order Placement
Website Ordering:
Orders must be placed via our online platform on Sugared Perfection’s Bakesy page (https://bakesy.shop/b/sugared-perfection). Our website is designed to make the ordering process simple, allowing customers to:
• Select items from our menu
• Choose preferred quantities and specifications (e.g., flavors, customizations)
• Provide event details (e.g., occasion date, location)
• Specify pickup time and date
Order Timeline:
• Minimum Notice: Orders must be placed at least 72 hours in advance for standard baked goods. Custom or large orders require a minimum of 7 days’ notice.
• Availability: Orders are subject to availability. We recommend placing orders early, especially during peak seasons (e.g., holidays, special events), as our production capacity is limited.
Order Confirmation:
Once an order is successfully placed, you will receive a confirmation email containing the details of your order, including the pickup time and date. Please review this carefully to ensure everything is correct.
2. Retainer Fee & Payment Policy
To ensure that your order is secured and prepared to meet your specifications, we require a non-refundable retainer fee at the time of booking. This fee helps us to plan and allocate resources for your order, especially for custom and large-scale items.
Retainer Fee Structure:
• Standard Orders: For orders above $50, a non refundable retainer fee of 50% is required at the time of order placement.
The retainer fee will be deducted from the final balance.
Final Payment:
• The balance of the order (minus the retainer fee) is due 3 days prior to pickup.
• We accept payments via Apple Pay, Zelle, or Cashapp.
Cancellations:
• Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours before the scheduled pickup time to receive a partial refund (minus the retainer fee).
• If a cancellation is made within 24 hours of the scheduled pickup time, the retainer fee is non-refundable.
3. Pickup Times & Procedure
We strive to make your pickup experience as seamless as possible. Please adhere to the following guidelines to ensure the timely and smooth collection of your order:
Scheduled Pickup Time:
• Orders must be picked up within the designated time frame indicated during the order placement process.
• If you need to adjust the pickup time after placing the order, please contact us at least 24 hours before your scheduled pickup time. While we will do our best to accommodate changes, we cannot guarantee availability for last-minute adjustments.
Late Pickup:
• If you arrive after the scheduled pickup time, we cannot guarantee that your order will be available. If we are unable to accommodate a late pickup, we reserve the right to cancel or reassign your order to another customer.
• A $5 late fee will be applied for every 15-minute increment past the scheduled pickup time. If you are more than 30 minutes late without prior notice, your order may be forfeited without refund.
Pickup Location:
• All orders are available for pickup at our designated pickup location, which will be provided in your order confirmation email.
Order Inspection:
Upon pickup, please inspect your order for any discrepancies or damage. Once your order is picked up, Sugared Perfection is not responsible for any damage or issues with the order unless reported at the time of pickup.
4. Holiday & Special Event Orders
During high-demand periods, such as holidays (e.g., Christmas, Thanksgiving, Valentine’s Day) and major local events, we encourage customers to place their orders as early as possible to guarantee availability.
• Holiday Orders: Orders for holidays or special events may require a longer lead time and are subject to additional surcharges based on the scale of the order.
• Order Restrictions: Certain holidays may limit the types of products available. This will be communicated ahead of time on our website or via direct communication.
