What began as a life-long love of baking turned in to a business in the spring of 2011 when we solidified our business plan for a special order cake shop in Avon, NY. The name Sweet Arts came from the desire to make edible works of art...art with an expiration date! In particular, our "chocolate art" technique can capture anything from portraits to logos to cartoon characters in an edible form. An

d our "mixed media" cakes, including fondant, butter cream and chocolate, can take any idea to an edible art form, even a flying Hawaiian pig. The business has now grown into everyone's favorite small town coffee shop with coffees, cookies, and bagels.

Our amazing son Brian Lewis created a theater showcase for his senior capstone called watch a banana for 20 minutes!
We laughed we cried it moved us brian.
On the way to Boston our car died, we made it out in time for the show but won't make it back by Monday.

Update: my apologies to Cosmic Charlie's ... It was brought to my attention that they also have a drink called the valley fog. Great minds think alike! Any ideas for a different name that still references the Genesee valley??

I moved to the Genesee Valley 35 years ago to train horses. 1 broken leg, 1 husband, 3 kids and 2 storefronts later and I'm still here.

Everyday the lighting, the weather, the ground cover is different and magical. My favorite tree on Nations road is beautiful no matter what, especially today.

We reinvented the traditional London Fog as a homage to the Genesee Valley. Come in and try it and let us know what you think!

Pick up or let us deliver one or more of our gifts, including a sweet charcuterie, Cupid's arrow or everyone's favorite, the Love Muffin (pictured here without the chocolate covered strawberries that are freshly dipped)

Thursday is the last day to order a Valentine's cake, cupcakes or cake pops, but we will have plenty in the store on Saturday!

Of course you can't go wrong with our delicious cinnamon rolls. Pre-orders are appreciated.
