Hello to all of my treasured customers! I certainly miss seeing your smiling and hungry faces at the The Pavilion Market!

This has been an exceptionally busy market season for me, and I am sorry to have missed the opening days at this season’s market. Working and being blessed with a new grandson this week has kept me very busy and unable to attend the market.

I am taking orders weekly. So if there is something you would like please send me a
message, and we can hopefully arrange a pick up/delivery of your favorites!

For those looking to assist our Ga***rd community in the aftermath of yesterday’s tornado:

If people can move through town safely the United Way will be collecting donations in the back of E-Free. Come to middle entrance in the back. We will be there at 9 am Saturday.

Please no large bags of clothes!

How important is local to you? Do you know where your produce is coming from? Even at farm markets you need to be aware-there are resellers. Some disclose where the product is coming from (another small farm perhaps) but some do not. They bought the product and want to make a buck off you without lifting a finger.
Rest assured that WE are your local grower! WE put the hours into our field to give you the best blueberry experience we possibly can. WE w**d that field-all the way through September. WE start in April pruning bushes. WE hand pick every one of those delicious berries. This is our back yard that we share with you-and we are happy to do so. 💙
So if it matters-Up North Blueberry Farm is YOUR LOCAL GROWER, but you already knew that! Don’t be fooled-we love you too much to let that happen.

It is sunny and 70 under the Pavilion this morning for the Downtown Ga***rd Farmer's Market! 🤣 Your local vendors are set up and ready to serve you! Produce, blueberries, fresh cut flowers, locally grown meat, maple syrup, jams, honey, and of course some delicious baked goods!!! Parking is adjacent to the Pavilion so no worries about getting wet! Blueberries are here!

We will start attending markets on July 17th. The Downtown Ga***rd Farmer's Market is from 8 am - 1 pm. Boyne City Farm Market is from 8 am - 12 pm. Keep in mind that we typically sell out so please come early!! We also highly recommend pre-ordering large quantities (5 # and 10 # boxes). Just send us an email or let us know which market that you'd like us to hold a box (or 3) for you, a contact number, and the date you'd like them. No need to prepay-you can pay for them at the market.

Curbside will continue this year due to its popularity! Just send us an email with your name, contact number, date you'd like to pick them up, and your order. All of our products and pricing are on the website for your convenience.

We will pick your berries within 24 hours of your arrival. Simply drive up to the house, drop your payment in the lock-box (with your name on the envelope), and enjoy your delicious northern Michigan blueberries!

U-pick usually opens 10-14 days after we start at markets. Early season picking is tough (just ask our staff!). We want to wait until picking is plentiful before we open the gates for u-pick to ensure you have a pleasant experience.

Not only did Dave do a great job running the market, but he was a great guy. Having been raised the daughter of a firefighter who worked with Dave for many years, I cannot remember a time I didn’t know Dave.
His passion and dedication to the department could only be compared to the love he had for his family. As a community we were very fortunate to have someone so committed to the safety and well-being of our citizens.
He carried the same dedication to our farmers market. To say he will be missed is a true understatement.

With sad heart the Otsego County Fire Department lost a one of our hero’s today.
Fire Chief David Duffield passed away at approximate 4p.m. today
Chief Duffield serve on the department for 47 years, 13 years currently as the Fire Chief.
Please keep Sarah and her family in your prayers.

Good morning. This Saturday, the 31st, will be the season finale for the Downtown Ga***rd Farmer's Market under the pavilion. I will be there, rain or shine (let’s hope no snow) with a table full of goodness, as well as, order forms for your THANKSGIVING desserts!
We will have a market the day before Thanksgiving on Wednesday, the 25th, located at the warm and dry indoor location of the Alpine Village Mall (on Wisconsin, across the parking lot from
Family Fare).
