The last time there was a 40% chance of rain I got wet. I really thought it would rain today, so I didn't make much. I did make two new items: focaccia and chocolate chip cookie push pops. I also made cinnamon sticks.
I'm at the FV Growers Market from now until noon!

I really want to see this market grow so that there are 20 or so tents and not just the 5 there are today. I have cinnamon rolls, cinnamon twists, and cinnamon pretzels. I also have chocolate chip cookies and brookies. And the twins' teddy grahams and rice cereal treats that they didn't sell yesterday!

I currently have 4 cinnamon rolls and 6 cinnamon sticks/twists with just an hour left here in Fuquay! It’s looking like I’ll have some of both at the market tomorrow, too.

Both items came out of the oven around 6-something this morning, so they’ll still be nice and fresh! 😋

I’ll also have a few loaves of bagel bread, which I’ll be baking either tonight or first thing in the morning so they’ll be fresh for the market.

Tuesday: Cinnamon Twist drop at Salty Moon Mercantile! If you haven't tried our Cinnamon Twist yet, now's the perfect time to stop by.

Saturday: 8:00 AM–12:00 PM at the FV Growers Market. This will probably be the twins' last appearance, so come say hello!

Sunday: 12:00–4:00 PM at The Farmers Market on New Hope.

Y'all, sometimes when the alarm goes off at a crazy hour like 2 or 3 a.m., I say to myself, "I don't want money that bad!" and go back to sleep. I always remember doing it.

I don't know why 3 a.m. Tasha turned the alarm off because I don't remember doing it, but 4 a.m. Tasha woke up in shock that it was already 4 a.m. and she'd lost an hour.

Somehow, losing an hour only made me 8 minutes late for work, so YAY! 😂 And there are 6 cinnamon rolls waiting for anyone at Salty Moon Mercantile

Its raining, but we made it. I'm divorcing the twins for letting my chair get wet!
We have cinnamon rolls, cinnamon twists, bagel bread, brownie bites and chocolate chip cookie bites. I baked everything after 12 am this morning so it's fresh!
We will be here until 11/12 ish

Join us on Saturday, July 25, from 9:30 AM to 11:30 PM for a fun morning focused on bike safety and healthy kids!

This special event will be held during the final day of our Summer Meal Program and is open to families throughout the community.

Kids can enjoy:
🪖 Free bicycle helmets (while supplies last)
🎨 Free face painting
🚲 Free minor bike tune-ups and safety checks
📚 Bike safety education and tips

Our goal is to help children stay safe while riding and make sure every child has access to a properly fitted helmet.
