Rest assured bad batches still happen!

I have made thousands of loafs of bread at this point and this is my latest batch… 🙃
I knew as soon as I opened the oven I would be starting this order over.
What happened!? I rushed my starter. It was no where near its peak when I made the dough… 🙅‍♀️

All of that to say, if you’re just starting to make sourdough bread and you keep pulling not so pretty loafs out of the oven, don’t give up! It happens to everyone!

After about 10 hours of warm fermentation this dough will double in size and become 8 traditional and 8 jalapeño cheddar sourdough loafs.
