When Allison and I purchased Groundhouse in 2024, we knew it was important to continue the legacy of a community-centric Groundhouse. One central core of that has been our "keep the change" jar, which goes directly to SafeHome. The community has raised nearly $150,000 since Groundhouse has first opened for this cause.

We're honored to carry on this legacy.

We all know that the cost of living is significantly outpacing wage growth. We've been doing our best to raise wages for our employees whenever possible, without passing high costs on to our customers. With inflation these last two years, it's been especially challenging.

In order to take care of our employees, we've decided to start accepting tips. While we pride ourselves on our partnerships with the school district and taking care of our customers, our first charge is ensuring that our employees are taken care of.

100% of credit card tips will be distributed directly to the non-managerial employees.

Meanwhile, we'll still be collecting cash tips "keep the change" to go to Safehome. Groundhouse will subsidize those donations as we're able to ensure that Safehome isn't hurt by this change in our business.

We know this will be a change for you. And we know that you love Groundhouse as much as we do, so change is hard. The heart of Groundhouse remains the same: take care of our employees, our customers, and our community.

It's Finally Coming: We'll be delivering via DoorDash soon! 🥳

We're in the process of updating our technology. This means we'll be migrating our loyalty program too.

It will be the same program and same process, but loyalty members will likely get communication about a new account. Don't worry - we're expecting this. It's will be your same account, just restarted on the new platform.

Your points won't transfer directly, but we're going to make sure you have new points on your new account.

All the in-store processes will remain the same where you can sign in with your phone number or attach with a specific credit card.
