The 𝗕𝗟𝗨𝗘𝗕𝗘𝗥𝗥𝗬 𝗦𝗢𝗨𝗥𝗗𝗢𝗨𝗚𝗛 made its first appearance this season, last week to great applause.

Who knew this humble berry would cause such a stir. The amount of emails and return shoppers praising this loaf astounded even us. You've toasted, french toasted... you've even Monte Cristo'd and Croque Madame'd it! (Yes, those are verbs now). We love a good sweet and savory riff.

🌷 Graduation and Mother's Day Weekend, oh boy! 🌷

This weekend so many families gather to celebrate the mothers, grandmothers and those who are motherly adjacent. What better place to grab the one who love something handcrafted, and grown/made with love. The will be awash with flowers, plants and all the things to nourish and pamper those wonderful people in your life.

Back by popular demand, the 𝗕𝗔𝗦𝗜𝗟 𝗣𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗢 + 𝗘𝗚𝗚 𝗕𝗜𝗔𝗟𝗬 will be delivered straight from the oven and ready to be placed in your hot little hand! We take pesto that is lovingly preserved from basil, farm fresh egg from and sprinkled with a little cheese for good measure. Our pesto is made with pumpkin seeds, so it is nut free and ready to please!

𝗔𝗖𝗠𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣 keeps on growing and we are looking for a qualified production baker and an apprentice baker to join our team. If you are looking for a place where you can expand your production baking experience with a talented tight knit team, this is the place to be! Here are the deets:

The ideal candidates are early risers (shifts start as early as 2am), who enjoy a physically challenging job and the desire to create a tangible high quality product day in and day out. Weekend availability is needed. This job can be highly physical, so the ability to stand for long periods, bend, squat and lift is a must. This is a full time position.

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘𝗗 𝗣𝗥𝗢𝗗𝗨𝗖𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥
If you have at least 2 years in a production baking setting, this is the job for you. We are looking for folks with experience in any of the following areas: shaping a variety of breads, mixing and running a multi-deck oven.

𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗜𝗖𝗘 𝗕𝗔𝗞𝗘𝗥
No experience necessary for this position, just a positive early morning attitude, ability to work a highly physical job and a desire to lean in and learn the trade. Production bakers are always in need and these skills are highly transferrable to any city, state or country.

🍁 Gratuitous crumb shot 🍁

The luscious 𝗚𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗧 𝗣𝗨𝗠𝗣𝗞𝗜𝗡 𝗟𝗢𝗔𝗙 is making a one week appearance, so grab it today while you still can! This loaf is loaded with pureed roasted pumpkin that we preserved last season from our pals at and fresh rosemary from ! A beautifully soft and chewy loaf full of fall flavors, and topped with toasted pepitas makes the greatest tool for sopping up those seasonal soups, and let's be honest, its getting a wee bit chilly again.

All this nice weather has really helped make the local produce pop, which is why it's time for the gorgeous 𝗥𝗛𝗨𝗕𝗔𝗥𝗕 𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗜𝗦𝗛 to make its grand appearance! Our pals at supply us with the most gorgeous stocks that we stew down into the best rhubarb compote this side of the Mississippi. The most buttery, eggy, delicious 𝗕𝗥𝗔𝗜𝗗𝗘𝗗 𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗢𝗖𝗛𝗘 is headed to the market tomorrow just in time for your holiday festivities.

Our fave preparation is a creme brulee inspired french toast bake that can be made a ahead of time and popped in the oven the morning of! Pair it with some local egg and spring veggie quiche and you are set to start your day off right.

As usual, we are bringing back all of your favorites, with a few fun creations inspired by what can be found now at the market, or have been lovingly preserved from the prior year. While our preference is for fresh always, preservation is a way we can still capture the peak season flavors all year long during the shoulder seasons.
