Ok… this one hurts a bit 🥺🥹🥰 my last cookie order, y’all. It was for my lovely sister-in-law’s baby shower, celebrating my nephew coming soon, baby Joel ❤️ so perfect to end this chapter with cookies for my brother’s son.
“Here Comes the Son” was an amazing theme to do cookies for. The soft colors, boho/retro vibe, and the designs were so much fun to create. I based these cookie designs on details from the party’s invitations which mom-to-be designed herself! What an honor to contribute to bringing her vision to life for her shower!

Once again, thank you all so much for the love and support on my cookie journey! I am sooo appreciative of your kind words, past cookie orders, some who’ve expressed sadness that they won’t be able to order again! I’m hoping this won’t be forever, but maybe just a break for the season I’m currently in. Family first, right? 🥰

Hi friends. Coming at you with another life update 😂

It was just a few weeks ago that I posted that I was back after an unexpected break from making cookies. I credited it to my late niece who passed away this summer that I was going to keep doing cookies after we tragically lost her. But the truth is, I have come to discover and decide that baking and selling cookies is just not the right thing for me in this season. My husband and I decided that while I’m home, constantly pouring into my four children, homeschooling & homemaking… it’s just too much to add constant cookie orders on top of that. I sincerely apologize for the appearance of going back and forth on this decision. I’m not a wishy-washy person, I promise! Instead, I’ve decided to lay aside my tendency to be too hard on myself & to people-please, and actually put my family first. I need to be present and undistracted in my current role at home. Avery, my niece, inspired me to do more than just keep up with cookies. She inspired me to be all that I need to be at home, focusing on my family first!

I’m so sorry—and I will sincerely miss being your cookie lady! I find so much joy in providing beautiful, yummy, color-coordinated themed treats to enhance your parties & important life events! Thank you for entrusting me with your sugar cookie orders up until now. I will no longer be taking orders. I will post a few last pics of orders from this month, and then I’ll be closing up shop. Time for me to walk in full obedience to what I’m really called to do!

Gender reveal cookiesssss, with boy name & girl name, and colored icing to reveal gender hidden on the inside ✨

Hey fellow cookie lovers! If you’ve been wondering where I’ve been, here’s a brief life update. I took an unexpected & unannounced break from cookies when my 3-week-old niece was suddenly ill in the hospital this summer. We took an emergency trip back to Arizona to be with family during the hardship of little Avery’s hospitalization. We were grateful for the opportunity, because my sweet niece tragically passed away 3 days after we arrived. It has been a hard journey, trudging through grief and loss of a sweet baby girl who was born into our family completely healthy just months ago.

Since then, my little family and I moved to a new rental home in Star, Idaho, and I have admittedly been unsure what to do about Carly’s Cookies. I still am not 100% sure to be honest 😂 but my sister, who lost her baby over summer, is now pregnant with her rainbow baby—and I couldn’t say no when she asked if she could order gender reveal cookies for Avery’s little sibling. It felt right that my first full set of cookies after Avery’s baby shower this spring is now the gender reveal set for her little brother or sister. ❤️

So, for now? I am back! Kinda 😜 I’m not sure if I’ll go full fledge into holiday cookies & constant posts like I did last year, or if I will take it slow and just do an order here and there as they come in. But… I am back 🥰 my sister hoped this gender reveal set would spark a fire in my lil cookie heart, and it definitely did somethin’ like that. So, in honor of Avery Renae, my “almost namesake niece,” I won’t be done making cookies. 😭❤️👼🏼

-Option A) Mother’s Day by the dozen! Variety of design (example is the first photo with cookies I did 2 years ago, but I may change up designs this year!). $4/cookie; $48/dozen.
-Option B) Mother’s Day Mason Jar Bouquet Cookie Set! 7 cookies & comes with edible ink marker. The tag cookie is left blank so you can write whatever sweet message you want to leave for the Mama you’re celebrating. (These photos are also 2 years old!). $32/box

On a personal note: On Mother’s Day 2022, I found myself being admitted in the hospital for a few days, and actually almost didn’t make it back home to my four young children. It was one of the most terrifying things I have gone through. I’m so beyond grateful to be back home and healthy, & back to making cookies this Mother’s Day 2023!! ❤️
