We hope you will call us to order any cookies you may need for special occasions such as birthdays, weddings, baby showers, etc. Patty Cakes™ is a cottage business and open to the public by appointment only. to 5:00 p.m. Patty Cakes™ is owned a

nd operated by Patty Russell and has been doing business in the Middle Tennessee area since 1981. Patty graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and for many years after graduation worked in the business field; then for approximately ten years as a legal assistant. She was awarded the Master's Degree in Business Education from Tennessee State University and recently taught high school business classes before deciding to operate Patty Cakes™ full-time. Patty's mother was a home economics teacher who taught her to bake at an early age. After graduating college, Patty took cake decorating lessons and began sharing her creations with friends at work. Those friends soon began requesting birthday, anniversary, wedding and specialty cakes from her and Patty operated her cake decorating business part-time while pursuing other career goals full-time. After 40-plus years making specialty cakes, Patty is now retired and making decorated cookies part-time. Need cookies for a special occasion? Please give us a call!

Why buy local?
Your flowers were picked fresh from the field the day of or day before they get to you—Not picked then trucked to a warehouse in some other country, then shipped to Miami, then shipped to a wholesaler, then to you. Imported flowers are already past their prime by the time you can get them—dry packed (no water) for days while in transit.
Locally grown:
1. Helps your local farmer
2. Helps your local economy
3. Gives you REAL freshly harvested flowers which
4. Reduce the carbon footprint of shipping from another country or region
5. Are usually more healthy because small, local farmers are mostly growing herbicide/pesticide-free
6. Gives you options of seasonal flowers that are too delicate to ship

These flowers were harvested on my farm and in the hands of florists within hours, not days.

If you are a local florist or event planner and would like to purchase local flowers, reach out to 💐 Nashville Cut Flower Collective
We are a group of several middle Tennessee flower farmers, each growing exceptional, seasonal local flowers.
The lisianthus you see in these photos are taking a break but we will have more in a couple of weeks. I’ve had lisianthus last 3 weeks in the vase—they are amazing cut flowers!

We’re back! Come see us at and grab you some lisianthus, zinnias, glads. And the fall flowers are already getting started too. This will be the last of the lisianthus until sometime in September. Don’t miss out! 💐🩷💐

I’ll be at today with these favorite flowers. The garden is bursting with blooms right now so come out and grab some! I’ve got lisianthus, cosmos, celosia, zinnias and the sweet William is still hanging on as we transition from spring flowers to summer. I have neglected my dahlias this year so they are not blooming so well. Hopefully I can show them some love next week and they’ll reward me when the weather cools down. They really do not like this heat!!!
This will be my only market this month as I am having to take some time off for a minor surgery. But as long as my flowers survive my absence, I’ll be back in August!
Please come visit me today. 😊💐😊

The flowers are selling fast! Come on out and grab a bunch. We’re here until 2:00. 💐

Yesterday’s sunset picture. 🩷 Isn’t this rose pretty? And she smells as good as she looks. I’ll post her name in the comments. 😊

Didn’t have time to take more because I was trying to catch up on my chores and get some harvesting done. If anyone wants sunflowers, hit me up. They’ve all decided to bloom right now. I was hoping they’d wait until the end of the week but, nope, they’re not waiting!

Saturday is Flowerfest on the square in Gallatin. I’ll be there with other Middle Tennessee growers in the Tennessee Cut Flower Collective booth. We will have so many beautiful flowers so please come out and “smell the roses!” Saturday, 9:00-2:00. Better come early to get the best selection. The good ones go quickly!
