Patty graduated from the University of Tennessee with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration and for many years after graduation worked in the business field; then for approximately ten years as a legal assistant. She was awarded the Master's Degree in Business Education from Tennessee State University and recently taught high school business classes before deciding to operate Patty Cakes™ full-time. Patty's mother was a home economics teacher who taught her to bake at an early age. After graduating college, Patty took cake decorating lessons and began sharing her creations with friends at work. Those friends soon began requesting birthday, anniversary, wedding and specialty cakes from her and Patty operated her cake decorating business part-time while pursuing other career goals full-time. After 40-plus years making specialty cakes, Patty is now retired and making decorated cookies part-time. Need cookies for a special occasion? Please give us a call!

Sunset pics from yesterday. I have very limited service at the farm so I can’t post while I’m there. I can’t even get phone calls if I happen to be in the lower part of the garden. So, for now, my posts will usually be the day after. I hope to get some video today of what’s blooming this week and there’s one flower starting to bloom that I’m really excited about! Went out to the garden to harvest yesterday after the rain. I was rewarded with the most gorgeous sunset (photos of that will be shared later today). It is so very peaceful out there. Moments like this make all the hard work worth it. Make sure you turn up your sound and listen to the birds and other sounds of nature. 🐸💚 Do you hear them?

If you preorder you can be sure and get a gorgeous bouquet because when they’re all gone, they’re gone!
