It’s been a while! I started a new full time job and have been so so busy these last couple months! But I’ve still been able to squeeze in a few baking jobs 👩🏻‍🍳 I will be able to take 1-2 jobs per week and am currently booked for June and some of July. Message me today to get on the books! 💜

⛳️ A “hole in one” themed cake for a little boys first birthday! Cake flavors consisted of sweet vanilla cake with buttercream frosting. This is a 12 inch round that can feed a good crowd. (Roughly 30-40 pieces depending on slice size) The beauty is in the details! The grass and ball details were time consuming but so worth it! Here is the response I got from the customer “Thank you so much! The cake was AMAZING! Everyone loved it and it tasted sooo good! We will definitely be ordering again!” Happy customer = happy baker ♥️

☮️💗🙂 A bright and colorful cake for a surprise 13th birthday party! Flavors consisted of traditional vanilla cake with vanilla buttercream and the cupcakes are rich chocolate cake with vanilla buttercream. This cake is a 8 inch round with four cake layers. (Feeds approximately 15-20 people, of course depending on your slice size 😜) Thank you past, present and future clients for your continued support!

👋🏼 My co-workers and I said “see you later” to one of our favorite supervisors. She is on to a new adventure and I’m so happy for her! Of course we had to send her on her way with a sweet treat and a laugh 🤣♥️ Best of luck on your new journey Rachel!

♥️ Valentine’s Day was a busy week for me. I didn’t take as many pictures as I would’ve liked but sweets were created and happy customers were made. Here’s a picture of a “date night cake kit”. This kit was for a returning customer and her family to have a fun night with their kids. I also did dozens of heart shaped sugar cookies that I forgot to photograph 😕 The schedule is starting to fill up for this month so if you’re looking for anything sweet send me a message!!

💜💙 Bake of the week! This weeks cake is a hydrangea flowered birthday cake. The customer requested hydrangea flowers and the birthday girls favorite colors purple and blue. Flavors consist of a traditional vanilla cake with a homemade raspberry filling and vanilla buttercream. I absolutely love the way these flowers turned out! (Makes me think Spring 🌸☀️) Whether you have a picture of exactly what you want or an idea of a few favorite things the guest of honor enjoys, let’s talk! This weekend we had the pleasure of providing cookies for a friends small business. Three Little’s Bounce Co. provides bounce houses for all your party needs. She also has party supplies and decorations for rent. If you haven’t already please go check out her page! Six dozen castle shaped sugar cookies went with her to the wedding expo this weekend. 🎮 Game on! One of my latest bakes for a sweet 13th birthday. This is a four layered chocolate cake with a rich chocolate cream filling. The outside is coated with vanilla buttercream to capture the bright blue and green colors. This cake is a large size as I used 12 inch rounds. (It will feed approximately 30-40 people.) 2023 is already busy for Mimi’s Sweets! I am looking forward to new creations, new challenges and helping you all with your sugary wants/needs! 💜

💥 Season two of Mimi’s Sweets Christmas cookies was a success! I am feeling very grateful that all of you have gotten me where I am today. To put your trust into my passion and support my dream has been the best gift this season. Reflecting on all of the jobs I’ve accomplished is truly humbling. When I started this business I was so nervous to take the leap of faith. My customers, family and friends have shown me it was the best decision I could’ve made time and time again. I am constantly learning from every job and very hopeful that this next year will be the best one yet! 💜
This year’s Christmas cookie season I’ve made around 324 cookies, six pounds of fudge and an untraceable amount of icing. How much sugar did I use? A LOT 😂 Thank you again for the love and support!!
