New bakery rule:
No baguettes when it's over 90° outside! 🔥

There will be a limited quantity of - not the best baguettes I've ever made - available this weekend. The private event this morning needed 30!

This Saturday my family will make our annual trip to Kewanee Hog Days after Galesburg Market. I will be taking this weekend for myself. There will be no hutch sale. I will not be answering messages. Labor Day weekend will always be about family. Thank you for all your support!

Good morning Knox County! Hope everyone is keeping cool this week. The bread oven is HOT and we are not slowing down here in the bakery. Don't forget we've got Abingdon IL Farmers Market over at Hedding Grade School tomorrow 4pm - 6pm instead of Main Street due to the heat.

This week's menu is... different. I usually focus 110% of my energy on the Galesburg Market (and now the Abingdon IL Farmers Market) all summer but I was given an opportunity I could not refuse! I did bake a TON of extras last week so there will be a wide variety of discounted pre-frozen loaves as well.

Yes, I did go to Camp's Orchard & yes, I am drinking an apple c***r slushy as I type this. However, I have a few large orders this week and next week. So we will have our Sourdough Apple Bread available the second weekend of September. 🍎🍏🍞🌾

This week we are trying something a little new, Lemon Poppyseed Sourdough!

I'll be at the WeeMaTuk Farmers Market on Thursday. Friday the John Mosser Public Library District is having their Mini Golf & Foam Party so be sure to swing by with your kiddos and of course the Galesburg Market on Saturday!

This week we have so many entries in our sourdough giveaway that we pulled TWO winners; one for each market! Tara Lee’s Sweet Tees won at the Abingdon IL Farmers Market and Dulcinea Rocha won for Galesburg Farmers Market! Please stop by and see me this weekend for a free loaf of your choice.
