First come first serve. They are handing out vouchers at the Cherokee County Health Department-Kansas in Columbus that seniors can use to buy produce and honey at our area farmers markets. $50 worth of vouchers for each person in the household that qualifies. There is a limited number, so make plans to get them before they’re gone.

Distribution of KS Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program funds begins Monday, June 1st, at the Cherokee County Health Department-Kansas.

Funds may be used at the Columbus Market beginning Thursday, June 4.

Well, the weather isn't cooperating for a market this weekend (10/18/25), so we're closing for the season.☹️ You can still get produce at the Columbus KS Farmers' Market on Thursdays until the end of October. And K&R Garden is attending there, if you still have vouchers to use. Thanks for supporting our market, and we look forward to returning next year (most-likely starting in June)! See you in the morning! We’ll be closed Columbus Day Weekend (Oct 11), but will be back for one *** FINAL MARKET (OCT 18)***. Tomorrow there will be tomatoes (they’re taping down), peppers (lots of colors, banana, jalapeño, some Anaheim and a few pepperoncini), okra, eggplant, limited green beans, and sooooo many pie pumpkins (variety of sizes). We also have peach jam, and eggs. Mule will have some big pumpkins too!
