Just some pictures to get your mouth watering!! Fudge covered vanilla cakes and carrot cakes was what everyone wanted for Easter! Yummy!
Y’all know my normal cakes are three 9” layers.
But occasionally, I get an order for my nemesis—the 9 layer, fudge covered cake!! The fudge has to be warm to spread on the cake and drizzle down the sides. But with 9 thin layers, they start sliding, and I get stressed with one layer going here, and another layer going there. So, to the fridge we go! After a few minutes, put on more icing, more sliding, until it’s finished. Then back to the fridge until it gets picked up! Did I win the battle?? NO— it slid with every layer, but it will still be one of the best cakes you will Ever eat!!!
It was ordered by a gentleman for his Queen (his words), just because she was craving that cake!! Our Mother’s Fudge recipe❤️

HAPPY THANKSGIVING to one and all !!!
I’ve had a couple orders cancel due to illness and travel plans changed, leaving me with extra vanilla cake layers and strawberry cake layers. If anyone would like any of these for pick up tomorrow, I can do any kind of icing on the vanilla layers and usually do strawberry icing on the strawberry layers. Let me know today.
